There were many good suggestions for the speaking club on Tuesday, October 3rd. We will keep them in mind for future meetings, but our next speaking club will focus on small talk – a type of conversation for meeting someone for the first time. We will briefly review small talk topics (Weather, Arts & Entertainment, Sports, Family, Food, Work, Travel, Celebrity gossip, Hobbies, Hometown), then in groups of 2-3 engage in conversation for 10-15 minutes. After, we will all share what we’ve learned about each other.

Originally from Orlando, Florida, Glenn Anderson already calls Ukraine his second home. Working here as a Peace Corps volunteer from 2016 to 2020, he has traveled the country conducting workshops for Ukrainian university professors and teachers.
