We all play many roles throughout our lives, each of which contributes to who we are. For Tuesday, 10 October, our topic for the Oval Office Speaking Club with Glenn will be the roles we play in life. We will discuss our roles as men and women, boys and girls; how we change during different stages of life (childhood, teen, young adult, middle age, old age); our roles within families, among friends, as citizens of a country, members of a culture, believers in faith; as well as our professional and educational roles. We can examine the responsibilities that go with these roles, as well as the benefits and joys, comparing them to how these roles are perceived differently in Ukraine and other countries. Finally, we will talk about how roles are changing in Ukraine and what that means for the future of the country.
