Sports and Games | Oval Office Speaking Club with Glenn

The word fan comes from fanatical, which means obsessively concerned with something. It is estimated that there are 3.5 billion football fans in the world. Why do some of us love sports so much, and others find them boring? Why do we feel so much joy when “our” team wins and so much pain when they lose? Which sports are Ukrainian fan favorites?

At the next Oval Office Speaking Club with Glenn, we will talk about the role of sports and games in our lives and why some people are fanatical and others have no interest.

See you on Tuesday, February 20th, at 6 PM.
