In Ukraine, one can witness the importance of voluntarism every day: from the start of the full-scale invasion, until now, volunteers have been working to help those in need.
When starting your career, volunteering can help you develop new skills, find new friends, travel, or even understand yourself better. Someone may even say that volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy.
On International Volunteer Day, which is celebrated on December 5, let’s discuss the motives, traditions, and benefits of volunteering. See you Tuesday, 6 PM, at the Oval Office Speaking Club with Glenn.
