🎶 Continuing our series of open meetings with music professionals from the USA together with Porichka music community!

On October 2, our guest will be Lee Humherian — drummer and mentor with more than a decade of experience on the international music scene. From 2008 to 2017, Lee was the professional drummer of the California metal band PHINEHAS, touring across the USA, Canada, Europe, and Japan. Since moving to Ukraine in 2017, he has been investing his energy in youth leadership and music education in Lviv.

During this session, Lee will share his personal journey as a musician — both accidental and professional — and offer a candid look behind the scenes of PHINEHAS:

• how the band was built from the ground up

• strategies for growing and sustaining a music project

• mistakes he would avoid if he could start over

• unique opportunities he sees for Ukrainian artists today

The event will also feature an open Q&A block — your chance to ask Lee directly about music careers, global touring, and band development.

About the speaker:

Lee Humherian is an American drummer who spent nearly a decade building PHINEHAS into a full-time touring band. In 2017 he moved to Ukraine with his wife and two daughters, now living in Lviv and working at organization EPOKHA while mentoring a teenage rock-pop choir Fusion.NRG.
