Ready to have some fun and get creative? Come join our first-ever improv workshop at America House Lviv for beginners!

Improv is like theatre, where you make up everything on the spot without a script. (Yes, you don’t have to learn anything by heart!) It's all about being quick, saying "Yes, and…" to other participants' ideas, and working together to make funny scenes.

No matter if you already have experience with improv or other forms of theatre or not – you are welcome here.

At this very first workshop, you will learn the rules of improv, its main principles and try it out by yourself. We will start with several exercises (also called games) and complete the workshop with some scenes.

The workshop will be held in English and is free of charge with pre-registration.

About an organizer:

Liza Zhdanova is a German language teacher, very passionate about improvisational theatre. Before the full-scale invasion, she organized and moderated some improv workshops in her home city, Kharkiv. In 2022 she moved to Munich and became a part of improv theatre Rice Cookies, where she learned a lot. For now, she would like to start an Improv theatre in Lviv and share her passion with others.
