About Charlie

Originally from a small town north of Boston, Massachusetts, Charlie has been all over the United States and Europe. He holds a history and international politics degree from West Virginia University and is finishing a master's in peace, security, and development from the University of Belgrade (Serbia).

Charlie has been teaching English for almost five years now. His English teaching journey began in Albania, where he served as a Peace Corps volunteer in a central Albanian village and worked with elementary and middle school students. A few years later, Charlie moved to Kyiv, where he worked in a private school with children and trained teachers. Before starting at America House, he worked with Ukrainian adults learning English online. 

Speaking Clubs with Charlie happen online on Mondays at 5 PM.
