It seems like there's a new film or TV adaptation of a beloved novel or story every day now, and with each new adaptation comes legions of fans screaming "the book was better." ELR Charlie is here to pose the question: is that always true? What makes for a good adaptation of a book to film/tv show, and is it possible to make everyone happy?
